Shoe Recycling Logo
Project Details
Role: Visual Design
Duration: 2 Weeks
Tools: Inkscape
A set of logo options for a new shoe recycling company based in Brooklyn.
Project Overview
Wearable Collections, a Brooklyn-based clothing recycling company, was launching a new shoe recycling division. They needed a logo that communicated sustainability and footwear in a single mark. The challenge: create something recognizable at small sizes that clearly conveyed “shoe” and “recycling” without relying on clichéd imagery.
Round 1
Initial ideation—as many viable shapes as I could think of. The goal was to explore the full space of possibilities before narrowing down.
Round 2
Client asked for a more hand-drawn look—something that felt approachable and DIY rather than corporate. Here were a bunch of options exploring that direction.
Extras
Some additional experimental shapes plus the original “logo drafts” sheets for context.
